Tyler began his solid yoga practice in 2021 as part of a kettlebell program. He was anxious to attend a live in-person class when the restrictions of the pandemic would allow. As a self described man of many hats, it is no wonder he found himself in his first yoga teacher training the following year. Tyler graduated Be Yoga Oakmont’s 200 hour YTT.
As a L.U. steamfitter, Tyler has heard “take care of your body, kid” countless times since entering the trade. He now uses yoga in conjunction with functional strength training to challenge widely held beliefs that construction is inherently hard on the physical body.
Tyler also enjoys endurance running, live performances, a good story, collecting records and working absurd hours in steel mills a long as he has time to give the gift of yoga through teaching!
